Point-of-sale hardware for restaurants

A restaurant station usually includes an all-in-one terminal at the counter, a thermal printer in the kitchen and LRS pagers. A tablet is added when orders are taken at the table. G4POS supplies these families wholesale to resellers, who choose the software and keep the relationship with the restaurant owner.

Setting up a restaurant station

The number of devices depends on the floor plan and on the software your client chooses.

Quoting tips for restaurants

Start by checking the configuration the restaurant’s software requires. The JG8000, offered as the server station, is Windows compatible, with an Intel Core i5-8265U processor, 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of NVMe storage. On the floor, the Windows compatible DG820 and DG870GB tablets take orders and recharge on their station.

The printer has to be recognized by the point-of-sale software. The MG80 is an 80 mm thermal printer with ESC/POS emulation, which most POS software supports. It connects over serial, USB or Ethernet.

Include LRS pagers in the same quote. The range includes staff pagers, guest pagers for customers waiting for a table or an order, and call buttons placed on tables.
