When should you propose the JG7000?
Propose the JG7000 when the customer needs to see the order or the total during the sale. Because its 10.1-inch customer display is built into the terminal, there is no separate display to mount or connect.
Its Intel Celeron J6412 processor has 4 cores and reaches up to 2.6 GHz, according to Intel. Compare this configuration with the requirements published by your client’s software vendor before you put it in the quote.

When should you propose the JG8000?
Propose the JG8000 for the main station, when the software calls for a server station or an Intel Core i5 processor. G4POS offers it as the server station. Its Intel Core i5-8265U has 4 cores and 8 threads and reaches up to 3.9 GHz, according to Intel.
If your client’s software runs with a server station and checkout stations, you can pair a JG8000 as the server with JG7000 units at the checkouts where customers need to see the sale.

What do they have in common?
Both terminals have the same connectivity: 2 RS-232 serial ports (DB9), 6 USB ports including 4 USB 3.0, an HDMI port, a Gigabit RJ45 network port and an audio output. The MG80, which has a serial interface, therefore connects to either one, as do the USB scanners in the catalogue.
Both are Windows-compatible and covered by the one-year manufacturer warranty. For the tablets in the catalogue, the article “Which device for which client” compares the DG820 and the DG870GB.
