Which all-in-one point-of-sale terminal does G4POS distribute?
G4POS distributes the JG8000, an Windows compatible all-in-one point-of-sale computer, with a 15-inch, 10-point touchscreen. It has an Intel Core i5-8265U processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory, 256 GB of NVMe storage, 2 RS-232 serial ports and 6 USB ports. G4POS offers it as the server station.
What is the difference between the JG8000, the DG820 and the DG870GB?
The JG8000 is a Windows compatible fixed all-in-one computer, with a 15-inch touchscreen, an Intel Core i5-8265U processor, 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of NVMe storage. G4POS offers it as the server station. The DG820 and the DG870GB are rugged 8-inch tablets, each offered with its charging station. The DG870GB has 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, compared with 2 GB and 64 GB for the DG820. It also connects over 4G LTE.
Does G4POS sell point-of-sale software?
No. G4POS sells point-of-sale hardware, antivirus software and online backup, and you install the point-of-sale software of your choice.
Does the hardware meet Revenu Québec requirements?
Revenu Québec certifies sales recording systems (SRS), which are software. A compliant installation uses a certified SRS and, where needed, a printer compatible with that SRS: confirm with the software vendor that the hardware you choose is supported.
Where can I find a model’s specifications, datasheets and drivers?
Each model page on g4pos.com lists the product’s key features and specifications. The MG80, SC310 and DG870GB datasheets can be downloaded from the model page. For any other document, such as a manual or a driver, write to vente@g4pos.com.
What warranty covers the hardware?
Hardware distributed by G4POS is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, for a term of one year unless another term is stated on the product page or on its brand page (for example, LRS: 2 years for transmitters, 30 days for accessories). The legal warranties under the Civil Code of Québec also apply.
Does G4POS ship outside Québec?
Yes, on request, to every Canadian province. G4POS does not ship to the territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut) or to the United States. Have the team confirm the terms of a delivery outside Québec before you prepare your quote.
How do I open a G4POS reseller account?
Fill in the form on the “Become a reseller” page. G4POS then approves the account, sends you the wholesale price list and helps you with your first order.
