Who can open a G4POS reseller account?
The G4POS reseller account is reserved for businesses that resell point-of-sale hardware: integrators, dealers and consultants. The application form asks for the company name, its website, its type of business, the territory it serves and its estimated volume.
What are the steps to open the account?
Opening the account takes three steps: the request, the approval and then access to wholesale pricing.
- You fill in the form on the Become a reseller page or call 1-888-653-8131.
- G4POS reviews your request and confirms that your account is open.
- You receive the wholesale price list and can place orders.
What does a reseller get once the account is open?
Each reseller is assigned an account manager as soon as the account is opened. The account also gives access to the following.
- wholesale pricing, reserved for reseller accounts;
- priority access to the stock held in Québec;
- training for your team on the catalogue products, for both selling and installation;
- technical support in French and English, Mon–Fri 9am–4pm (ET);
- your order history and project tracking.
How does the first order work?
You prepare the configuration with your account manager, who gives you your pricing so you can quote your client. You then order by phone or email, with no minimum quantity except for custom-printed cards (1,000 cards). G4POS ships the order from Québec and sends you the shipping confirmation with the tracking number. Every order is payable upon receipt of the invoice.
Does the reseller keep the relationship with its clients?
Yes. G4POS sells mainly to resellers, and your clients stay yours. The reseller who is first to register a client or a project with G4POS is protected for that client: G4POS does not refer that client to another reseller. No territorial exclusivity is granted.
Which point-of-sale software should the reseller offer?
The reseller chooses the point-of-sale software it installs for its client, and G4POS supplies the hardware. Revenu Québec certifies sales recording systems (SRS), which are software: hardware falls outside that scope.
