Thermal receipt paper is sold in rolls of two main widths: 80 mm for counter and kitchen printers, and 58 mm for compact and portable models.
Why it matters to a reseller
Paper is a recurring consumable: it brings repeat orders, but it also causes mistakes. A 58 mm roll in a printer set to 80 mm prints off-centre; the reverse cuts off the end of each line, and a roll that is too wide will not fit the paper guide. Confirm the width and the maximum roll diameter before the client’s first paper order.
